I practice a lot of abilities and try to learn as much as I can but something happens all the time that I need answered, I move my psi wheel successfully with the cupping my hands method but I read to imagine between your hands getting warmer and I always feel cold air, still my psi wheel spins but I'm wondering am I doing something accidentally or tapped into something I don't know about, already as a kid I was drawn to this whole topic of abilities because I experienced chronokinesis but had no idea how I did it so it may be that I'm unaware
Its all the same whether your hands are up or not... Your hands being cuped around it just makes it easier because the chances of it moving are greater when your hands are close to it due to heat, movement, air, ect. It just makes it more "possible" for your mind, therefor making it easier.
well, hewt, the power comes from your mind, not your hands. You're just able to focus your energy or whatever easier through your hands, but so is every other psion.
yes I know that, but everything I've read on it says visualize warm air, and I try and it ends up being cold air, now, I prefer cold weather to hot, do you think that has anything to do with it
That happens to me a lot, too. When I practice on psiwheels, I mean. I don't normally cup my hands because I don't want my body heat or unwanted movements to affect the air around the wheel, unless I'm trying to actually manipulate air. I like to switch between the two (tk & ak). When I manipulate the air, though, my hands always get cold and it feels like there are a few hundred tiny little air currents blowing around my hands, just feels like when there's less than a slight breeze outside, only much less than that. But when I just will the damned thing to move, normally my hands feel warmer, but because I'm partial to the wind (<3) I think my subconscious likes to use the way it has the most experience with (path of least resistance). idk. Maybe we just have bad circulation in our hands, hewt.
