Martial Arts & Kinesis


I've been wondering, do martial arts help with kinesis'? I've noticed that when I use Tai Chi I am able to use aerokinesis and I still have yet to see electrokinesis to be done with Tai Chi. But, anyway, do martial arts enhance psychokinetic abilities?

Id say take it on... Im a martial artist and so far nothing kinetically bad has happened

I've an insight into your question that may be able to assist you. I copied my post from the "Chi" thread of the "Questions Regarding Psychic Abilities" section instead of retyping.

"I've had access to circulating Qi for nearly seven years now. You'll know when you are accessing it through experience; (I have a tingling sensation in the legs and arms, stronger int he legs; as if being jolted with light electricity) explaining with words is a challenge because it is a subtle energy, and the effects are not instant most of the time. I integrate forms of Qigong into my martial arts training.

As for using it to amplify or focus your ability...Qi itself is the energy you're accessing to manifest your kinesis (I recommend reading about Dr. Yan Xin, EHF and his Qigong research. He explains scientifically the traits of Qi, how it functions as an "energy of information).

Harnessing your Qi starts with specific breathing methods (inhaling and holding the breath for 4 seconds, then exhaling for 4 seconds, etc.) and your concentration on those breaths. Next is visualization, where you imagine your Qi circulating through meridians (mind leading the Qi). Once you train yourself to access your Qi more efficiently, you won't have to redirect your intentions; you'll be able to heat or "cook" your Qi while intending to use your kinesis.

I practice wado ryu style karate and I also practice Iron fist conditioning. In a nutshell wado ryu focuses on speed and simplicity, iron fist training is to contition my limbs for high speed/power impacts, the kind you will find in breaking or otherwise kumite (combat test)

Martial Arts teach disipline and self determination, both essencial for kinetics. And if you train your arts like you should you mind and spirit strengthen as your body does, use that strength to focus your kinetic abilities. I also use the following technique; When you [ractice your forms and/or combinations channel your energy through your attacks and blocks. This will help you gain controll over yourself and the enrgy around you.

But i see a problem with this. If you acess something loke pyrokinesis youcould cook somebody instantly. Try explaining that to the poor guys family

But you see, that is where the dicipline and self-control from the martial arts comes in.
