I recently became interested in -kinesis abilities, and when I was meditating before spoonbending practice a few nights ago... I heard a strange noise, it sounded like I was taking the spoon, which I had yet to pick up, and dinged it on a glazed ceramic teacup twice really quickly. It was strange, it came from my right, and it was so loud I knew it was coming from inside my room, but the only thing next to me was a tissue box and a wall, and I was sitting on my bed. Can someone explain this to me, it's not necessarily normal to hear sounds like these is it?
Also last night during practice, when I got up to "becoming one" with the spoon, for a second I felt like when I moved my thumb the spoon would move like most guides said would be felt, but I felt a strong vibration going down from my head, I could feel it as strongly as if someone was rubbing a piece of wood or something hard down the side of my whole arm, into my arm and it kind of disappeared into my thumb, it didn't hurt though, I got distracted by this and couldn't concentrate again because I've never felt it before, this is normal right?
interesting, ive never experianced something like this before, but it might have something to do with clairaudience, or it could be clairaudience mixed with pregognition, so you might be hearing things that are yet to come or in different places other than where you are (which would actually be linked to astral travel... i guess) thats all i can think of at the moment, ill post again if i come by anything of a similar nature.

Well if it is clairaudience it doesn't happen often, which is not a complaint I found it... quite strange.

This makes sense as well, a while back I was studying a technique for astral projection and it said hearing a metallic-like noise at a certain point is normal, but it can't be normal if I wasn't trying to project, I was trying to bend a spoon.
interesting, maybe its a delayed effect or as i mentioned earlier it could be a mixture of 2 or more different abilities.
maybe your mind has been conditioned to the astral technique that you were attempting and goes through that first like an automatic responce when ever you try to use an ability or after or during meditation where your brain starts putting out alpha waves
Is this astral travel technique on the internet if so could you give me the address for it.

It's a website on witchcraft, paganism, etc., so if you aren't for that kind of thing stay on that page. The person who writes it is VERY detailed and gives a lot of ideas that people wouldn't normally be thinking about while trying to project.. You'll know what I'm talking about if you read it thoroughly.
Edit: Also about the website, I never really read anything besides that page so I don't know what kind of opinions it has on anything else.
I'll tell u what happend.. jesus christ.. not to sound like an ass but u guys went on about really dumb sh*t for a long time..
U made SOME KIND of sound with your mind in the other room.. i do that ALL THE TIME.... i was doing it on the bus home today.. which is good practice btw.. sounds are the easiest to replicate.
and about the wierd sensation from ur head, through ur arm, and to ur thumb.. that was ur kenetic energy being misplaced into physical energy that went to the most obviouse place it could.. ur thumb.. so keep it up cuz that means ur REAL close..
