I have a question, even though a person already has certain abilites could he/she experience more by studying that certain ability and practicing it?

Absolutely. In fact, as with most other things in life, regular and persistant practice is the only certain way to develop any psi ability.

I agree completely. Identify your innate skills, and work with those--you'll go MUCH further, much faster, than attempting to learn a skill that you may never gain any great facility with, if you can learn it at all. Not everyone can learn every ability.

Also, most people are either input or output-oriented. That is to say, they tend either toward sensing abilities (remote viewing, precognition, sensing thoughts or emotions, aura-sensing, etc etc), or affecting abilities (PK, sending thought or emotion, etc). This does not mean they can't learn the function they're not as good with, but it will be a bit more difficult. Sensitives tend to have more problems from uncontrolled abilities than Tendencies (output-oriented persons...don't look at me, I didn't invent the term, lol), except in rare cases where someone is...say...setting things on fire. :D
