Perhaps I'm misinterpreting the article about chronokinetics, but from what I gathered as I read this while very tired at nearly 2:30 in the morning, I came to the understanding that chronokinetics could be attempted by anyone. Now I'm asking if this understanding is true or if it's just me asking a stupid question at 2:30AM. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
On the other hand, I'm wondering what kind of symptoms may indicate a chronokinetic gift/ ability if there are any symptoms. I'm asking this because on several occasions I've had thing happen to me and it seems as though time slows down, and for a long time I accredited that to just very fast reflexes- but perhaps the recurring "slow time" type of reactions to things is a symptom of chronokinetics? I dont know so I'm asking you guys for help- you're the experts, you tell me. I'm just wondering if maybe I've been given a gift or if I'm just really quick on my feet and have good reflexes.
Thanks!

Chronokinesis can be a born ability or learned. The ability was learned by a few Asian cultures under the practice of martial arts, but it was many years of specific and dedicated training fort these people to acquire such control. The ability lies in our mental perception and our mind is controllable if properly educated in regions of psychology and hypnosis.
There is no absolute answer to your question. As far as symptoms for this ability there are many that are questionable and easily misinterpreted. With abilities such as these sometimes the only way to see if they are in all actuality real is to attempt the progression and growth of the ability. My suggestion would be try to put yourself in situations or develop exercises to measure your possible ability and keep track of your progress. The greatest instrument for the measurement of the progression of a chronokinetic ability is a simple yard stick. Have an individual not yourself hold a yard stick above your open hand no further away then three inches and drop it at their own command. With your reaction time you will grab the stick at a certain measurement. In time keep going back to this and see if it improves. If it does not you either need to practice more or give upon it for the time being and try again in a few months or years.
