Meditation is the biggest help. you can keep a record of your experiences to help. write what you foresaw and the distance of time between when you saw your vision and when it came true. try to notice every time you have a postcognitive and observe it and you will start having them more often. but only you can learn how to control it. the method is different for everybody but these are a few helpers. good luck.
no, i think he knows what he's talking about, MrE. Postcognition is when you see forms of objects that have already passed through that position, and is usually in the form of a shadow or dark silhouette. Like a metaphysical afterimage.
And as advice, I haven't ever actually had experience with postcog, but I could suggest trying to keep your focus on things as they happen, on the leading edge of the present, and keep trying that, so you can condition the ability not to just happen when you're not focusing on it. i dunno, that's my two cents. Hope it helps.
