I can make matches go out if I focus on them. I can also direct the fire of a match or zippo lighter, but I have to focus alot. So, I'm a beginner I guess you can say. Pyrokinesis.

I would like to get to that point, one day hopefully. But if I don't, then I at least want to get to the point to where I can direct large flames, like a campfire, in large a flame to twice or three times its size, manipulate multiples flames at once, reduce the need of physical fuel, and be able to demish large size fires

Norules.. see what having negative intent can do?  Try positive intent.. not only toward the computer, but toward others.  You might be amazed at the positive results!  Send "healing energies" into the computer in the same way you simply chose to control it; also let it know you appreciate it and care about it.  I know this may seem weird, since a computer is an inanimate, mindless object, but if one kind of emotion, feeling, energy, whatever - could affect it in one way, then the opposite kinds of emotions.. feelings.. energies.. whatever just might affect it in quite a differernt way.. logical?  As we say in mind control and psi..  "positive intent"

I know what you mean. but i hate my computer. its always been a bitch. If I had the time I could probably fix all its problems but i dont. maybe one of these days I'll meditate with it or something.

you don't have to "love" your computer, you only need to blend energies with it, emotions block your energies.

are you sure you made the room cold or you just don't have a resistance? also, fire is hard to create, I know few people that can even do it, much less do it at will.

I have one of those 9KV electric flyswatters.. that should do it for ya! <eg>  Guarantee that would sufficiently numb that arm!    Sorry folks, couldn't resist..

<textdump>
...lol.

Hmm...psychokinetic (preferance to ak..and a bit of tk) here going on...hummm...almost 6 months now. Ever since i was 13 i've loved the wind in all its prowress. I can go outside in a windstorm (which has sometimes been my doing, i believe.) and all i have to do is get hit with a gust and my soul soars with joy. It makes me as happy as seeing my girlfriend, and listening to that perfect trance song that gives you shivers. (I'm sure you can't actually place that in your own experiences, at least most of you. but that's the only other way to compare it :P) Nay, in fact (don't tell her i said this ), it makes me happier. Happier than anything in the world. A constant overload of endorphines, and I can't help but laugh and grin.

I don't know if any of you heard about the windstorm in Washington recently; I believe it made the national news at one point. The night of the 14th of December. 'Twas a Thursday. Anyway, it was forecasted that there would be a pretty big storm headed our way, and of course, I was pumped. Then they started forecasting the windspeeds and I got even more excited. They said that the winds would maybe reach a high of 60mph in some spots in Puget Sound, 80 in the Straight and about 40-50 on the coast and where I live (close to Lake Washington). What we weren't expecting was the rain; terrible flooding in many places, it rained so hard at one point that i believe it was pouring down at a rate of an inch per hour. Mind you, that's quite bad. Anyway, the rain stopped at about 6-7 pm and i got all dressed up in warm clothing (Hey, im no thermo...i don't have high resistances :P) and when i went out, the rain was about dead, and the wind was pretty calm. Minutes after stepping into my backyard (which has a perfect windswept location about 60ft above sea level and on the edge of a hill that overlooks a beautiful panorama of Lake washington and Seattle beyond it) the wind picked up. it built up as i grew more excited, and I felt so connected to the wind that night that despite the unfortunate side-effects it had on everyone else, I'd do it all again. Anyway, i was so connected that night that I was really conversing with the wind and it was responding in turn, and just when it died i'd egg it on, taunt it even, and it'd come back even stronger than before. And all the while I watched across the lake and all around my neighborhood, i watched the transformers and powerlines and power stations light up and go bang. And then my head turned south at around 8-9pm and i saw the sky light up and in the air, bang. It was the first thing I saw when I turned my head. We lost power right then and there. It didn't phase me for even a single second. I was too happy, and besides, I had already known that we were alllll going to lose power; I was ready for that. I was here for the wind. I had purpose. Godddddthis is a huge chunk o text...anyway. Around 12:30 i had exhausted myself and i was getting pretty cold, so i decided to turn in. It wasn't until I had to go to work the next day that I saw how much devastation the storm had caused. 600,000+ people without power. I did feel terrible. Sure. But for that one night, more than any other, everything I've come to know was just solidified. It was beyond the shadow of a doubt that this was a reality, that we are capable of anything.

So yeah...I am first and foremost an Aerokinetic. going on 6 months now, yes. I am 17, almost 18 next 23rd of Feb. *squeee* :p I'd say im probably a semi-intermediate, but to be honest my indoor skills are slightly better than dreadful. I've also taken to tk, of course, just becuase, wind, when you consider it to be wind, requires much more energy to motivate an object than it does to move it with pure will of thought. Will of thought (tk) is more like using another body part to push or pull an object, but wind is much weaker in its more common and easier to manipulate strengths. While i can't cull a 50mph gust, i can cull a 10mph one, but not of such voracity to move anything more than a leaf or a plastic bag. I like plastic bags. They make boring work a fun place to practice. I try to resist blowing them into people's windshields though, that'd be mean...anywho, I'll end this GODFORSAKEN POST OF A DEMON monolith by saying...um...{somethingprofound}</textdump>

I remember that storm. I also went to my backyard and played with the wind a bit and watched the lightning light up the sky. It was pretty cool. that was a pretty good day for an aerokinetic.

tell me, how are you two aerokinetics able to do as you say? It's been about two or three years for my pyrokinetics and the only thing I can do is just generate heat within my body, put out the flame of a match, and make the flame on my zippo jump up and fade out, but only when there's low fuel; also, I've been doing electrokinesis (hand-and-hand pyro with electro) and I can only shock electrical, metallic (mainly aluminum) and sometimes people, and I've been doing electro for about half a  year to a year. Tell me, what do you guys do, to get so strong?

Well, it depends on who you're asking, but in my case, I am a highly philosophical and intelligent person. I am very intuitive, and I am just as much logical. I know a lot already, and part of what I believe in dictates that its only the tip of the iceberg. I've been told by two therapists so far that I have the amount of life experience equivalent to a 35-year-old, and I'm only 17 (18 in 1 month xD). A lot of what I've theorized regarding existence and why things are has led me to psychokinetics and general psionics. And the more I learn and practice the more I have this picture in my head that abso-fricking-loutely ANYTHING is completely possible with our minds. Well not just our minds but our entire existences. The whole of our being. And so, with all of this, I guess to answer your question, I was just more suited to do what I do. Sometimes I believe it is the way it is, because it's supposed to be that way. Almost like fate. i dunno. But when I said I had been into psychokinetics for only about 6 months, sure, that's how long i've been officially practicing, but before i knew about pk i had felt this strength inside of me that just wanted to be unleashed, something i could never express in tactile kinetics. I knew it had to be something more. It's just something I've always known to be true. That's the biggest step for me, knowing with all of my being that it is completely and whole-heartedly possible.

And when I do what I do, it's more than a will upon the air. It's like, a connection. Every time i've felt the wind, it registered a personality. And when I learn more about that personality, it becomes easier to form a partnership with, transfer energy, and direct it for a period of time. With that I've also been able to feel the wind before it actually hits me or makes that rustling sound in the trees. I look up into the sky, into the clouds and the sun, and i see purpose. I belong in the air, that's what i've always said for some time now. I've pledged that within a decade, I will be in the air.

Yeah Pretty much what Archaeum said.
but I've always been good at everything i've done. Like athletics, social BS, Music, etc.. I see everything as an artform and I happen to be really good at art.
so when im learning something, whether it's golf or psychokinesis, i take the proper procautions (both conscously and subconsciously) to be the best. 'cause i believe in being the best otherwise, why do it at all?
and when you count the fact that time is'nt a factor, it gets rid of a lot of pressure.. pressure that usually keeps one from getting what he/she wants.. 'cause i don't plan on dieing. for 2 reasons: technology is getting to the point where my generation probably wont have to. And psychokineticly I will never die. I will keep myself alive through anything.. until I talk to the dead and ask them what death is like and maybe i will consider it. I plan on being a great psychokinetic so i can do all this ****.
