I apologize for the overly broad topic name, but I really needed to get people's attention for this matter, cuz I've wracked my brain for quite some time and I simply cannot figure it out. I've read up on the site and I cant find anything to help me figure out what it is that's going on with me, so I was hoping someone here on the forums could help me.
You see, I'm 18 now and I've been having this "problem" (I hate using that word because it has something of a negative connotation, it's really more of an uncontrolled gift, but anyway) since I was a small child- I dont even remember when it started. I see shadow people, silhouettes and such in vivid detail. As time moved on, it seemed like my gift had sharpened- the shadow people started moving, I could feel when something was there and I couldnt see it, and now I'm starting to see faces and such, I can even tell you what they are wearing in some cases. But my "problem" is that I dont know what this is and therefore cant do any research, and it's getting out of control and it's kinda weirding me out.
Just last night, at approximately 4AM, I had one of these many visits from a shadow spirit/ person/ whatever they are- and for once they scared me. I dont scare easily, but this one freaked me out- It was so vivid and so clear and I could clearly feel that this was a hostile spirit. As I was walking to my kitchen, I passed the stairs that lead down to my basement (and I always get an uneasy feeling down there- not the "Boogeyman living in my basement" kind of uneasy, it's more along the lines of "I'm not alone down here..." kind of uneasy. Well, as I passed, I saw her- a woman between the ages of 23 and 25, approximately, snowy white hair as though it'd been dyed that way, and pale skin. Not "I havent seen daylight in a few days" pale, I mean the "I have no blood whatsoever coursing through my veins" kind of pale, and I had an instant vivid vision of this woman 's death being a suicide- in which she had cut herself to bleed out. So at first I shrugged this vision off- like maybe I'd imagined it. But there was that feeling that followed me from the basement to the back of the house. I'd been standing in front of the downstairs bathroom sink, washing my hands when I felt her behind me, and the feeling made my stomach turn. It was very hostile and very angry and it worried me. I was going to go upstairs and brush my teeth to go to bed when I had another vivid vision- one of this woman following me upstairs and violently murdering me with a sharp object of some sort (and considering that I keep a large quantity of knives and other sharp objects just across the hall from the upstairs bathroom that was NOT a chance I really wanted to take- Not to mention that the upstairs bathroom has always been a room that gave me that creeped out "I'm not alone" feeling, which would go hand in hand with this spirits supposed death that it put a vision of in my head). These images in my head were so disturbing that I decided to avoid that room of the house altogether and just run and jump into bed- I had a small amount of evil warding around my bed, so I felt safe there.
I swear to you that I'm not making this up, I saw it in very vivid detail and this was not a hallucination from tiredness (since I'm in night classes for college, I'm up at about noon-1PM and I go to bed around 4-5AM, so I really wasnt terribly tired). The only reason I'm really asking about this is because I really want to know what it is that I'm seeing. Are these really spirits from another plane of existence that I'm seeing? Or am I really just going crazy and need psychiatric help? I dont know, I could really use some feedback though.
I would suggest you make a psi shield whenever you feel the evil presence. Incase you don't know how to make one I would suggest that you simply imagine an egg around you (as stupid as that sounds). You could be postcognitive and that's why you see shadow people and you could be a medium and that's why you saw the spirit's face. Not to get personal, but do you divine using... dead bodies? I'm just curious because I'm a dowser and I would like to know more about other forms of divination.

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely have to try the psi shield.
How would I be able to sharpen my skills as a medium, if I wanted to do so? I mean- as I'm getting over the initial fear of what happened the other night, I'm starting to see some potential advantages to having this under control. And I'm new to the whole "seeing dead people" thing, so I dont do any sort of divination yet. I'm gonna focus on mastering this whole communicating with them thing before I go onto anything else.
I don't know how you could practice your mediumship but you could use a pendulum or a pair of L-rods to communicate with the spirits. You could ask the evil spirit to leave your house so it doesn't get out of control and start throwing things. Another idea would be to use a psi shield around the spirit and to make the psi sheild "crush" the spirit, like a room with closing walls. It might work, but I'm not sure. I hope it works!

Idk about the ghost chick but I'd suggest controling ur shadows.. if uve never tried to develope a psychokinetic ability before.. ill explain it to u.. this is how I learnd to enhance my abilitys..
when u see the shadow forming or whatever MAKE SURE ur not even at-the-least hallucinating because if there is a single doubt in ur mind the ability will not come easy.. u can blame this on social conditioning.. I do. but when U KNOW theyre REALLY DOING SOMETHING put your emotions into action as if u KNOW its going to do what U EXPECT.. as if u didnt expect it at all and it was actually supposed to happen..This is cuz everything is 1 and all really works together.. its a trip but u learn to deal with it....
it might be confusing.. and ur own subconcious will try to trick u.. but u will learn its tricks..This is basicaly the process I go through when im practicing psychokinetics
If youve actually made it this far... also remember to overlap ur emotions with recent knowledge that will help u pull through
you'll need reasurence at first.. until u get good and it nerrows down.
oh and make sure its more like the firthest thing from ur mind instead of what consumes it.. again.. the everything is 1 speach. And If your gonna take this seriously.. If u wannt to be cool I suggest u read this about 6 or 7 times.. seriously.. i would..
learn something about chi also.. and chakras.. just look at pics of them and put 2 and 2 together.. it'll make it easy..
i used to practice an occult path in which shadow people were called on to aid you. there really isn't anything to fear and by hostile could you clarify? if you know anything about telepathy you will find that thier quite fun to communicate with.
I remember once I was sleeping on my step brother's floor one night and there was a shadow person looking down on me. There was no face but I knew what it was. I was terrified.

HA!!!!!!!! FINALLY! You my friend are one of the few TRUE hyper-sensitives. You see the shadows of beings that once walked this earth in such clarity that you feel them no matter what. The downside tot his is that more Malevolent spirits also sense you and because they don't like to be seen they look for you. It is my belief that that was the young woman you saw. I have seen this young woman too, atleast it seems that way from your description, and I merely took one of my mothers spell books (I come from a pagan blood line) And cast a banishing spell on her after sketching her portrait.
I would advise that if you can not get ahold of any banishing spells train your mind and spirit so that you can defend yourself against future "attacks" Do this by Ki channeling and making psi-shields.
This ability of yours can not be controlled (as far as I know) But it can be harnessed into a great skill and you could very well consider a career in being a medium (communicating with the dead)
